GCA Advises ResDiary on Its Acquisition by AccorHotels

GCA is pleased to announce we acted as exclusive financial advisor to ResDiary, a provider of online restaurant reservation software, on its sale to global hospitality group AccorHotels. This acquisition is our latest hospitality technology transaction, as we advised Guestline on its sale to Riverside and TouchBistro on its Series B and C financings.

Based in Glasgow, Scotland, ResDiary provides a leading SaaS platform for restaurant reservation and table management. Venues use ResDiary’s software to optimize food and beverage revenues while controlling their operational costs. The company’s software is used by over 8,600 venues across 60 countries to seat more than 160 million diners a year. Over 35 Michelin star restaurants and global brands, such as TGI Fridays, rely on ResDiary’s platform.

AccorHotels is a leading international travel and lifestyle company offering unique experiences in more than 4,300 hotels, resorts and residences around the globe.

Mike Conyers, ResDiary’s co-founder and CEO, said: “We have had a very successful relationship with AccorHotels in Asia Pacific, and all the ResDiary team is thrilled to join the Group. We are looking forward to expanding our service on a more global level with AccorHotels.”

Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
