GCA Announces Daniel Avrutsky Joins the Firm as Managing Director, Software Banking

Brings 19-Year M&A and Equity Capital Markets Expertise in Software and Technology Sectors

GCA is pleased to announce that Daniel Avrutsky has joined the firm as Managing Director. Based in New York, Daniel will focus on enterprise and infrastructure software advisory. Daniel brings 19 years of global M&A advisory and public and private equity capital markets experience to GCA, having advised on over $100 billion in M&A transactions for technology, media and telecom clients.

Prior to joining GCA, Daniel was a Managing Director at Perella Weinberg Partners, where he was the Head of Software and IT Services Coverage and the Co-Head of the Firm-Wide Shareholder Activism Defense Practice. Daniel also worked at Warburg Pincus in New York.

In addition to Daniel’s extensive banking experience, he has been actively involved with and served on company and advisory boards of a number of technology and software businesses. He also served on the Grant Committee of Skolkovo Foundation, the largest high tech development agency in Eastern Europe. Daniel holds a BA in Mathematics and Economics from Duke University and an MBA from Stanford University Graduate School of Business.
