GCA Advised Gaming Innovation Group on the Divestiture of Its B2C Assets to Betsson

GCA is pleased to announce we advised Gaming Innovation Group Inc. (GiG), a technology company providing solutions, products and services throughout the iGaming industry’s entire value chain, on the divestiture of its B2C assets to Betsson AB, a leading European online gambling company.

Founded in 2012, GiG is headquartered in Malta and dual-listed on the Oslo Stock Exchange and on Nasdaq Stockholm. Through its ecosystem of products and services, GiG connects operators, suppliers and users to create premium iGaming experiences. GiG’s B2C assets include the operator brands Rizk, Guts, Kaboo and Thrills.

Betsson, listed on Nasdaq Stockholm, is one of the leading European companies in online gambling with a long and strong track record of brand building, both organically and via acquisitions. It offers online casino, proprietary sportsbook and other online games in a multibrand strategy through gaming licenses in twelve countries in Europe and Central Asia.

Betsson commits to keeping the brands operational on GiG’s platform for a minimum of 30 months. In addition, Betsson’s sportsbook solution will, as part of the agreement, be integrated on GiG’s platform-offering, where GiG will act as a reseller for Betsson. Both GiG and Betsson will gain strategic advantages by selling their respective B2B solutions in an environment without conflict from their own B2C brands.
